Question:

Have flight to BKK on Monday from MNL?

How does the situation look at the Suvarnabhumi Airport? I have a flight scheduled from Manila on Monday - any hints of demonstrations that would mess my flight up?

(I guess I should probably worry more about the flight out 8 days later.)

Any recent "reporter on the street" info would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

  1. I just seen a report that the PAD (protest group) is not going to protest at Suvarnabhumi Airport.  Hope that reliefs your mind.

  2. You Should not have any problem at Bangkok Airport.

Protesting Area is only at Government House and some 3 Airport at the South.

Normal Activity is still in Thailand for all Thai and Foreigner

  3. Was there about 2 weeks ago. Honestly, Suvarnabhumi is a mess and it seems to be getting worse by the day. I would strongly suggest you reach the airport at least 4 hours before your flight departure. The last time around, an Air Asia flight developed some technical snag and several departures and arrivals were delayed for an hour, including my flight. Not to mention the abrupt changes in departure gate numbers.
