Have had an argument with the boss

Question

basically i was ill and i had 2 days off work and on the 3rd day she rang me in the morning and said to me am i coming in today and i sed yes.. then she sed well if your ill there is no point so i sed ok then i wont and she literally snapped and went crazy at me sayin YOU BETTER GET A SICK NOTE BLA BLA NO SICK PAY WE WILL TALK ABOUT YOUR "JOB" ON MONDAY... and no im going back to work tonight and im working with her... its gona be so awkward. basically she does the cooking and i do all the prep and get her stuff ready for her and i can see it coming shes really going to take the p**s tonight do this do that ect.. i dont know what answer im looking for i just need to talk about it i spose

Having some experience in matters similar to this one you have here may I say. Relax !!  If I understand correctly you work in the food service and being sick can cause problems for your boss. Just know this there are other jobs out there. ok ?  But I getting the feeling she wants to make sure your not going to keep calling in and ruin any "loyalty" and/or rapor you may have there. She cares enough to call... Thank her for this and re-assure her that you are sick and getting better. PPE is also needed in food services and I recomend you get a good stock of these for work to protect the customers. "If you show you care about the customers and inturn the company, she will care about you as an asset than an employee"
