Have i stopped growing?

I'm 15 and I'm 5ft3" and i haven't grown for 4 years. I'm really worried i've stopped growing, I'm taking the pill so has this stunted my growth?

when my daughter was 15 she was one of the shortest in her class now she is 20 she is the tallest.how tall your parents are is a good rflection for how tall you will be.Just be patient and good luck..the pill would not affect your height

Don't worry so much. You will still grow.

I'm 22 and I've grown an inch in height in 4 years.

Lots of factors here:

1) How tall are your parents? 5'3" may be reasonable if they are not tall

2) When did your periods start? Your growth mostly stops within 3 years of your periods starting though some people do grow a bit past this.

3) Are you sexually mature - periods, breast growth, body hair etc.

It is very unlikely that the pill has had an effect on your growth - see your GP - if there IS a problem then it is possible that it still treatable but don't wait.

And lastly - don't worry if 5'3" IS your height - I seem to remember reading a few years back that this is the average height preferred by men for their girlfriends!

Hun we are all so different, don't be so hard on yourself, there is nothing wrong with your height and you still have time to grow, you can normally get an idea of how tall you will be by the height of your parents, i stopped growing at ten years old, then reached 16 and started again, I'm now 6ft 2in, so i guess I'm at the other end of the scale, i couldn't care less what people think about me or my height, embrace what you have, ignore sad people who say nasty things because they are shallow and have their own hang ups believe me, just think of all the positive things about yourself, don't let this drag you down, keep your chin up hun and don't worry, the pill wont stunt your growth, there is no evidence to show this so forget that thought, chin up and hope thid has helped you feel a little better about yourself.xx.

I started my period when I was 9 and a half and I stopped growing (height) from then on. I'm 5foot 5/6. Not sure about the pill, but it does depend on your genes, if your mum and dad are both tall, chances are that you're gonna be tall and vice versa. Hope this helps

You probably have stopped growing. Nothing has stunted your growth, you're just short. Anyway... 5'3" isn't that short.
