Have just had a system

Question

Have just had a system re-build using foxconn 945p7ad motherboard and I now have a problem with regard to dvd burner speed. Where as I am used to a dvd burn in approx 8 mins now it takes some 60 mins for the same process. Both dvd drives in the system are ide conectors and I am sure that I need to alter a bios setting but I am unsure which settings to alter, I have looked for ultra dma thinking this might be the answer and can't find it can you please help. Drive has been checked using nero drive speed test and is showing only a x1 speed the drive is an optiarc 7173ad and is capable of x18
