my nvidia 8500gt keeps on over heating and crashing, I have tested my old graphics nvidia 7300 se and both over heat... They run from cold at around 40 degrees but within 5 mins are up to 53 degrees on normal use and last only few mins if i play games. Both the cards woked fine on old MSI and foxconn motherboards. I know the p5kc supports ATI in crossfire but does this mean my new board will not support nvidia at all even though i only have 1 graphics card..... Help

  1. Thats the reason i avoid Asus motherboards, Asus mobo's have compatibility problems with certain ram, graphics cards etc.

you might need to update your bios to get working, but updating your Bios might kill the mobo but try it, people have solved issues on Asus mobo's that way
