Question:

Have lost sound on several channels on Samsung TV. Other TVs on same cable system in house are ok. Any ideas?

Tried headphones with same result on affected channels. Could it be a bad cable or is it likely the TV. If TV can anything be done to correct this?

  3. You probably have SAP turned on.  Look on the menus and turn it off.

    SAP (Second Audio Program) is used for a second language (like Spanish) or for discriptive audio for the sight impared.  If you are tuned to a station that is broadcasting the SAP signal and sending no audio down it, you will hear nothing.
