Have many other people died in dreams and what could it mean?

I am 26 and have had 3 dreams that i remember in my life in which i have died. In the last one the other night i was decapitated. None of my friends have died in their dreams. Is it common and does anyone have any thoughts on what it means?

I've died many many times in my dreams. Sometimes the dream just carried on without me. I felt that I'd slighted myself ;-)

They don't mean anything of course. You might be anxious about something, but who isn't?  Certainly don't worry about it.

I haven't had those dreams for a few years. Mainly when I was younger.  Don't fret. It's nothing.

I'm not a doctor but I'm into this topic. My sense is that you are definately having changes as things are ending and others are starting. Maybe, a friendship or relationship as when it ends it is a form of the dying process. You are most likely bothered by it and working it out as we all do in your mind. You are, as a result, embarking on new experiences and saying goodbye to the old. It's a time of tumult for you and it's appearing in your dreams.

Many people have believed that dying in a dream actually causes one to die, but fortunately for you, that's not the case.

I wouldn't worry that there is any underlying meaning to your dreams.

ko well to me i believe dat if u die in ur dreams den u really die in real life. i have never actually died in my dream but i did come close to tho. i think dat u should b careful cuz u said u died 3 times. its jus my suggestion tho

many people die in there dreams because its the way it has to go. in life the dreams r a sighn to whats comming in the future. its like a prophcey. but in real life after a man or women finishes his or her drema is possible the dream concluds death or life.

i did, last year and im only 15 :S lol.. i was in a car crash.. i asked my sister (phycology student) and she just said that it was in the back of your mind like it normally is and its your brain trying to tell you to be more aware

I had a dream where i was dying because I was poisoning someone with food and i accidently ate it, i kept spitting and throwing up to try to get rid of the poison.

Sometimes when I am asleep one dream ends and another begins, dont worry you're not alone.

i am always seeing death in my dreams though it might not have to do with me i always seem to be in the middle with it your not doing some thing the way you should be or the way that you want to and yes it is a little more serious than work or school your not holding up to some ones standards and you feel that off them ad you mind is trying to key you in on what it might be... listen to your mind first its the best teacher

don't think you actually died in your dreams, you may have been close etc, you would have woken up right before death, or else, what happens in your dream when you die? there's just blank?
