  1. Yes they have.  It is done from time to time on "Coast To Coast AM with George Noory".  They try to get listeners to direct their thoughts to a single subject, such as a person with a terminal illness.

I have also heard things about spiritual energy being used on hurricane Katrina to try to change it's direction.  To either have it avoid Florida, with the conclusion being it slamming into New Orleans.....or the attempt to slow it and have it avoid New Orleans resulting in the storm slowing down and staying longer in New Orleans, dumping lots and lots of rain, even though it's intensity did drop from the category 5 it was out at sea.  Obviously if mental/spiritual energy had an effect on hurricane Katrina, it had little effect or even back-fired.  The lesson would be to not mess with nature on any level.

  2. There has been something close to this attempted. The participants did not claim to be psychic. They channeled their energy (not really by purposeful effort) into an imaginary ghost that they created. This was known as the Philip Experiment.

Edit: You may also be interested in the "Intention Experiment" (link below)

  3. for awhile in college i was dating a woman who thought she was psychic and she had a group that would do that.

Of course, nothing spectacular ever happened while I was sitting around watching them, cept this one lady used to start shaking. She said she was channeling spirits through her body. It was amusing the first time I saw it, but still I would have rather seen a good film.

  4. Yes it's called going to church

  5. I remember reading about how a bunch of hippies got together for a "think-in".  They concentrated their efforts on raising the Pentagon (or was it the White House) off the ground in protest of the Vietnam War.  It didn't work.

I also recall how some religionist tried to show the power of intercessory prayer.  That didn't work either.

  6. Actually this is true.  There have been documented witch rituals that were going on all over the world with the same goal (especially around world war 2) at the same time.  It is told that it was right near the end of the war and that their energies did help.  More locally, this is what covens do.  Many witches are psychics and that is why they find like-minded groups so that they can affect the world.  Also, is this not why christians get together to pray on Sundays?  Are they not supposed to have the same goals as well.  Positive thoughts, powered with emotion, sent in a certain direction, with the same goals, creates changes.  Hopefully for the good of all.  More people are psychic and have lots of spiritual energy than you would think...

  7. No, i should though

  8. Interesting question. I've not seen this attempted except on a particularly funny episode of South Park :)  But since zero multiplied by any number is still zero, I'd suspect the result in real life wouldn't be any more impressive.

  9. I'll have to think on this. lol

I asked a question a while back about what happens

when psychics get together..do they read each others minds? Guess they would just sit there..not having to talk.

I think what you said is a REALLY good idea. Surely it's already been tried...unless it's so simple no one thought of it.

EDIT...Maybe I didn't read it closely enough...but this "Phillip"...couldn't he be ANOTHER spirit PRETENDING  to be "Phillip"?Did I miss something.psi?

EDIT..Sorry, "Philip"...I see it's "Philip" with one "l". (I had a bf who was "Philip with one l" too.)
