you have to get the serial number off the engine and call a repair shop for evenrude and ask them

This number seems odd.  Perhaps describing the engine ign. system and or style gear case would help.  ie. Electronic, with single pulse pack on top of back of engine.  Thru hub exhaust.   Evenrude only built this motor during two periods of time.   Basically 70' and 80's  There was very little differences from year to year, like different cowl decals.  But there were two or three major design changes.  This might be a 1972 but I don't remember a 100 HP that year, it was 115 I think so More info would help.
