Have problem with my kajal (eyeliner).

Question

I have dark brownish-black eyes and I use a kajal to highlight them, When I put it on it looks good but starts spreading after sometime, what should I do?

I presume you mean your eyeliner always smudge from prolong use.

I will suggest using the pot eye liner from MAC, Bobbi Brown, Stila and Laneige that is more silicone based and water proof (on some tho, it is just more water resistant than kajal/kohls)

If you want VERY water proof eye liner. I would suggest using MAC's LiquidLast Liner. Apply from the tube directly but use a Q-tip/cotton bud to smudge it if you want a softer eye liner. Best to apply with a thin flat brush.

That stuff is so water proof, the only problem you have is removing it at night.

THE DISCLAIMER IS that the products recommanded cannot be sued on the water line area. Only kajal/kohl can be used in the water line area of the eyes.

Kajal/Kohl will spread as it is highly waxed, it is the wax and the softness of it that makes it comfortable on the waterline.

If you use the pot liner or the gel liners, they are silicone based and might bother the eyes will dryness if used on the water line.

WATER LINE = the pink watery area that parts the lashes from our eye balls (if that makes any sense)

i have the same problem. just don't put on a lot because after a while it does spread.

Good advice about the water line. They do this in photo shoots, but the models never leave the studio with the make up in their eyes.  It can be dangerous.

Make sure that your make up is fresh.  Even a few months old can cause problems.

Mary Kay has a liquid eyeliner as well, and it doesn't smudge during the day. I'm a dealer.  I cannot wear the liquid because my eyes are too sensitive (redhead, super pale skin, freckles); but you can develop allergies to any make up.
