Have royal mail changed the colour of first class stamps? if so can i not use mine anymore?

i have some gold coloured 1st class stamps in my kitchen drawer from like, maybe 8 months ago? but when i went to the post office today and posted something first class, donna the post office lady stuck a purpley red coloured stamp on my letter... hm....does anyone know? i have another letter to post and i need to know if i can use my gold coloured ones !!

  2. Yes you can. Unless the postage rate has changed since you bought them. Don't think it has.

  3. Yes you can still use them, but just be aware of the new large first class stamp. If your letter is over the new sizing it will need a different stamp the new first class large.

  4. You should still be able to use your stamps.

  5. yeah you can still use them. in fact unless i am sadly mistaken, you can use stamps as currency as well........

Yes any stamps are valid that pence on and as regards to price if it on has first or second class on stamps then that is the service youve already paid for , it was found to be to  fiddly and customer unfriendly when the price went up to have a lot of stamps surcharged for a £1 and a penny so they stopped putting price on them.

  8. Yes you can use them. I`ve got some Xmas ones I still use.
