Have sharpaquos with hdsat.rec.,haveoptical from lg 10d to sat box,can i get tv sound thru lg?

The sound comes in through your coax line from the dish tv box. If you want to get digital surround sound out then you should use the dish box with toshlink optical or digital coax to your digital surround decoder receiver like Pioneer Stereo Amp with 5.1 speakers. Or if you HDTV has  Dolby Digital Decoder built in then you can use the HDTV but remember it doesn't have 100watts per channel no 1000watts or 500watts you need to enjoy full 5.1 or 7.1 DST sound with sub woofer and 5 or 6 SAT with center speaker.
