  1. Unfortunately, skin doesn't stay the same throughout the years. It changes, and your tattoo will as well.

You shouldn't worry about what your tattoo looks like down the road. Get it done exactly as you want it, and enjoy it looking at it's best for the while that you are young. Hopefully by the time that you get older, you have changed and (hopefully) you will be okay with your tattoo changing as well.

  2. You can always get it touched up, but when you get older your skin tends to stretch, sag, thin, and so on. There is nothing a tattoo artist can do about that.

  3. I just got a tattoo redone that I had gotten about 20 years ago. It had faded. Now it looks better than it did when I originally got it. And yes tattooing has improved. The lines are finer and the colors are bolder.

  4. All tattoo's fade. But it also depends on how much sun you get, the care you give it when it is healing, and so many other factors.so you use a lotion on your skin? do you eat right? do you smoke? so it depends on you as to how it looks in many years to come. what ever you decide make sure it is something you love it will be there for the rest of your life.
