Have the 'Sockshop' chain of shops closed down?......could not see any in London's Oxford Street.....

  2. Alas, the one in Kings X has gone, too.

    I think they closed down a couple of years ago, but for what reason I do not know.

    The world is a sorrier place without them, though.

  4. I think you could be right. There used to be a couple in Manchester but I haven't seen them lately... it's all Knickerbox now!!

  5. Yeah they've gone.  The fashion for wearing psychedelic socks or Burlingtons is very much over.

    Ravel is soon to depart the high street as well and am not in the least bit surprised as their quality of shoes has plummeted considerably over the years.
