Have the Angels just guaranteed a trip to the world series grabbing Texiera?

seriously people that team was already one of the best.. now they add Texiera?? who can beat that??

No. they have not guranteed anything than a ridiculous record in the west. They will be the top team in the playoffs but will lose in the first round, they will play the red sox or the yanks whichever wins the wild card and i doubt they can get through these 2 teams, and Texiera hasnt been in the AL in a few years, so he may need an adjusment period because the NL is a lot different. And he may not fit in, especially as a big market team like the angels coming from the braves which wasnt looking to win much this year... But who knows he may come on strong, i just dont think this guranteed anythign at all.

The Angels are not guaranteed anything; just look at the Yankees. They do have a good chance of getting there though.

They are streaking and will buckle during the playoffs.  So, no it will make no difference.  They have bad karma given that some of the players have been caught using steroids.

no not yet if boston gets a reliever and a decent SS which could happen i still have them as th front runners with manny ortiz youk drew pedrioa and lowell dice-k and beckett lead for a playoff push with lester (9-3)
