Have the BHA got it right with David Reynolds? He’s been fined £10,000 and disqualifed for three months after finding him guilty of violent conduct against Kieren Fallon at Lingfield Park.

Doubtless some will regard the fine as excessive and others will believe that the ban is too lenient. The only certainty is that a precedent has been set. We will have to wait and see if it has a truly deterrent effect.
