Have the Witch Hunts ended ?

Question

In the Da Vinci Code Movie it was suggested that the Witch Hunts were a culling of the bloodline.

The Royal Family are Rh- and claim to have the bloodline to Jesus.

John Lennon was RH-, so was John F Kennedy and his unlucky Family and most recently Princess Di.

So have the Witch Hunts ended, or is it time for some of us to get paranoid ?

The royal family can suck.....nvm im not getting into that.

BUT, I can tell you that witch hunts are still going on just with a few changes. In certain countries religious minorities are prosecuted for false/framed accusations. And here in America the fundies are trying to drown out the non fundies and athiests.

Unfortunately the witch hunts never really ended because there are people out in the world so threatened by what is different than themselves that they would kill.  Yet is good that we live in a world today that does not always support such ignorance.  Yes...there is still much ignorance in the world; however, our laws have changed so to not support it ...well  as much.
