  1. often misplaced, never lost!

last United flight Washington to DFW...didn't show....they sent it from Washington to Denver to DFW, guy delivered it ar 4 am!

Hong Kong to Bangkok on Thai...somehow my daughter's bag took a detour to Delhi....delivered to our hotel in Phuket two days later

Frankfurt to Istanbul on Lufthansa....just didn't show up....desk clerk at hotel gave us good news next morning that it had been delivered at 3 am ("I not wake you"....he made the right decision!)

and on and on.   But nothing is ever really lost, as matter is neither created nor destroyed

  2. nope. but we've lost passenger's bags before.haha. i used to be an agent for us airways. and when we misplace your bag, you would of course call up, and we will answer. usually the answer would go like this "your bag will be forwarded to you within the next 3 biznes days" if that wouldnt shut you up, we are going to say " you are allowed to have 25usd for your incremental expenses, for each day that you havent received it yet" now if you would still complain, we are going to give you the number/email for the customer relations, and that will take an eternity before anyone will respond. basic tip, dont take connceting flights. or travel light. have a safe trip!

  3. My luggage went on to Hawaii, unfortunily, I got off in LA. It took close to a week to get them back, but the the airline was very nice they deliever them to my home apx 300 miles from the airport

  4. Well, it wasn't exactly lost.

I was on a nonstop flight from Dallas to Jacksonville Fl.

My luggage, however, went by way of Cleveland, for some reason..and I didn't get my luggage till the next day.  I could have waited, I suppose, it was about 4 hours later getting to Jacksonville, but I had a conflict of sorts and decided to just pick it up the next day.

  5. No...But this July my friends went on a trip to Disney World because their dad had won it at his job(Best worker for 13 years) and the way DW does it, they take you on a bus ride from the airport to your hotel and you don't see your luggages until you arrive at the hotel. Their luggages got sent to the wrong hotel and after about 10-20 minute she said that they had their luggages.
