YES! I swear on my life, and my mom remembers it too. It's not common at all, but it can happen.

When I was little, in the 70's, I had a lot of metal fillings in my baby teeth. We lived not far from a local radio station's transmission tower, and I would pick up the station, but only VERY faintly. I could only hear when it was extremely quiet, like very early on weekend mornings before anyone was up and moving around the neighborhood. I knew it was in my head because if I moved around the house it moved with me, with no change in the volume.  It never happened anywhere else, because everywhere else I went was further away from the transmission tower.

My mom thought I was nuts, literally, and was beginning to consider taking me to a doctor about it. Not too long after that, we moved, and it never happened again.

I never even knew what it was until years later when I read about it happening to other people. And luckily, the couple of little fillings I have now are not metal. I will never have a metal filling again!

I don't think this happens much anymore, if at all, because even when they use silver metal fillings these days, they are not made up of the exact same kinds of metals that were used when I was a kid.
