  1. OH PLEASEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

THEY lose ONE game ... honestly ... ( shaking my head something CHRONIC HERE )...

Shame on anybody who even suggests the handbags are out ...

Geelong has been BLOODY BRILLIANT all year .. I just wish MY team had of played even half as well this season ( always NEXT year Dees .. )

  2. I think the Umpires had some play in it, but a good team always win no matter what. Its getting to the business end of the season, Geelong will be there but I don't think they will win it this year. Watch out for them and Hawthorn next year. These two will dominate next year, and I believe Geelong will win a Premiership in the next two seasons.

  3. Poor Geelong supporters.

All season they've been 'keeping a lid on it' when they should have been enjoying the wonderful performances their club was putting on...

Now it looks like the kitty jitters are back, and who knows what joy, if any, lies ahead?

Should have enjoyed it while it was there...

  4. I think the umpires helped Geelong out at a few crucial stages in the second half, thats an unbiased opinion but I also think that in the majority of games umpires try to make games as close as they can for the sake of entertainment. It's a business and the more even the competition seems the more people watch and support it and therefore more revenue. Sydney was helped to a flag and my money would be on Geelong being helped to one as well but they are a quality side and good luck to them!

  5. Hope so. I never liked Geelong...or bombers...sorry if you like them.  The umps always have a say in the games. Anyway I reckon they should change heaps of rules back to normal, you can't blame the umps for calling hands in the back etc.

  6. This was the same question I was going to ask. The handbags have arrived at Kardinia Park. Cameron Ling and Joel Selwood don't play, Jimmy Bartel has his appendix removed and Gary Junior hurts a knee, but returns later on. The choking and gagging noise coming from Geelong is the players and coaches reaching for their throats and submitting to all the pressure and talk of a "shoe in" premiership in September. Choco Williams talks some sh*t in the newspapers and the Cats start worrying that what he said is true. I am afraid that a qualifying final loss followed by a semifinal loss is in the sights for the Cats. 15 wins in a row was great, but the Grand Final isn't among that streak. Looks like next year will be the 45th consecutive rebuilding season for Geelong. Am I scared to death that Geelong is going to quit now? Absolutely, it is the culture of the team. I hope Bomber and the boys prove me wrong!!

  7. They were bound to lose one at some stage. i think they'll be back in the winners circle next week whoever they play.

  8. If the handbags have come out ................ whoever plays geelong next week will be beat over the head by them.

This is bad news for other clubs, Geelong lost by a kick after almost cruising for 15 or 16 in a row.

I'm just glad Hawthorn doesn't play them in round 22

If anything this is only going to make Geelong even more attacking and hard at the ball, and the ball carrier.
