Question:

Have the neoconservatives made America a weaker nation?

They have been messing things up ever since they came to power. Their arrogance, unilateral actions, preemptive strikes.....and now they want more of the same by wanting to have McCain continue Bush's policy.

Moscow's recognition of Georgia's rebel regions is also a t*t for tat for U.S. recognition of Kosovo earlier this year. And this is just a fraction of how much damage they have done.

God help us;-]

  1. 8 years ago george w bush<43> disappeared into the white house doors ,his neo con policy seemed harmless at first and by the time America figured out the damage/insanity of Bush/rove/rummy/cheney/condi rice and the whole BUSHCO 7  America was reduced greatly,I think lack of a exit plan from anything as well as no foreign policy has degraded tax payers as much as the out of control moneys spend on a war ON TERROR that is not or never was a winnable thing now Bush is out soon question what is Israel going to do next in Iran cause those things are planed out well in advance ,I think   with Obama in office things will get better and diplomacy will return to the tables as it should be....chow yours DINO

  2. Absolutely. But, the neocons would never have been able to do anything that they've done were it not for the near total collaboration of the American people. We are a nation of 300 million people. If only 1% of us had marched in the streets and demanded the restoration of our constitutional rights; the preservation and expansion of the social safety net; the protection of our environment; and the noncommencement of an illegal war of terrorism against the people of Iraq and Afghanistan...even the neocons would have found a way to compromise with 3 million of us.

Way too many Americans are apathetic and too busy just struggling to get by in their own daily lives to pay attention, much less care, what their government has been doing. Democracies only work to the extent that the people they serve actively participate in electing leaders that represent them(and not corporate interests!). It is equally vital that the people actively participate in the decision-making process by making their will known as loudly as possible on every single issue. Otherwise, you might as well just have a dictator or a king. We fought a revolution to break away from the crushing hand of imperial edict, but that was long ago. We only have ourselves to blame for letting one man, one administration, and one party overthrow what we have so deeply believed and cherished about our own nation.

  3. Yes.

  4. All by design, get ready for the next step of 'globalization', world government overseen by the UN,

and don't you dupes think for a second that it hasn't been set up incrementally since Reagan-Bush, Bush Bush, Clinton Bush

You people better get with the program and figure out why you have an open borders police state.

  5. Abso 'frickin' lutely.

You've put it together nice and comprehensible!

    No one could emphasize enough,

how messed up to day's America is.

Not to mention the world's growing resentment to wards the US.

    Thanx to the Neocons!

PS, Do you believe this guy (quickspic)?!! Typical dumbA., arrogant, neocon.

  6. Absolutely. Sluggish economy, stretched weak military, abused middle class (75% of  population), repulsive international image of US,

huge budget deficit, education/health programs failure.. One can continue indefinitely

  7. Yes, They have spread the military too thin, creating internal demoralization because too much is being spent for war and earned international opprobrium with their arrogant imperialistic policies

  8. Yes . Most don't understand our enemy and why they do what they do .

The young radical Muslim today still feel and believe what they did hundreds of years ago . They resent western people moving into their countries and changing them . Their  lives are their religion and they live it every day . We can't seem to get that and still see them as we do ourselves . They don't live like we do and never will .

The best way to protect this country is to EDUCATE yourselves about your enemies .

  9. No, but the religious right and the abortion issue have.

We are the global bullies thanks to good people with good intentions.

Voting for your religious beliefs can cause more harm due to the complex issues that vote has to represent.

Strong views and opinions foster ego-driven agendas and ignore core social issues that deserve attention and well reasoned, intelligent debate.

  10. They have definitely done things wrong...

now watch them all come along and blame dem controlled congress

(controlled by a very slim margin not enough to get anything of merit passed and did won in 2006 but were not sworn in until 2007...)

  11. Yes

  12. compared to what ?

  13. No, the truth is very uncomfortable for the average touchy feely American. If we would like to continue to be the global superpower we will have to destabilize new growing nations, take their natural resources, and attack anyone who interferes with our dominance.

If we don't do this we will simply be another country that had their ten minutes of being on top in the world. Think England, Germany, Spain something along those lines.

  14. Gloria, The neoconservatives have not been in power nor will they ever be. first of all we have a liberal congress. 2nd the term neo-conservative means new conservative. in other words a democrat that has seen the error of his/her ways and transfered over to our side. While I agree on Russia being the big headache you should look at history before you down play the pre-emptive strike. It has worked in the past and can hellp us keep our status.

  15. no, but nice try.

  16. Absolutely.

And if you let them continue on their course? They will destroy this beautiful nation all together.

    Regards.

  17. no

  18. Well, you know what they say "The Word Republican Is Just Another Word For Ignorant!" All the neoconservatives ever want is to hate. That is why the KKK ALWAYS votes Republican! Really any hate monger votes Republican, because they want us all to live in the 1700's again. The time before equality laws. Back when Black's weren't allowed to vote. So YES, the neoconservatives are weakening America! The USA is a melting pot of every type of great culture. We are luck to be this way. So many counties don't have the diversity, so they don't grow. But if it was up to the Republican's, we would all be forced to read the Bible 24/7 and no one of a different background would be given equal rights.
