Or are they just blaming the Aussie Troy Critchley for the whole thing? surely the organisers who did not put up safety barriers are more to blame than him?

  1. Troy was not at fualt here any organization that request a performance like this must put in safety guidelines for the public, in this case it was run by the police and thought they had no one to answer to therefore nothing was done.

If you organise any function or party your DUTY OF CARE FALLS ON YOU.

Fencing should have been installed, and the public should have been protected, if you slip on a banana skin you can sue the establishment where it was lying due to the establishment did not adhere to cleanliness and poor house keeping not the dropkick that didn't put it in the bin in the first place.

DUTY OF CARE IS THE KEY PIONT

  2. From what I read, Critchley is being indicted on six counts of vehicular homicide due to recklessness, as well as 22 counts of reckless aggravated assault.

Which I think is right but also what I read the people that put this together had no fences or barriers in place and whit that they should also be facing some type of charges as well.

Also I read the road condition were also at fault but remember that you cant sue the city, which is (BS)..

  3. I wish you had give a link to the story for this question.

If this is the one where a driver (not a participant) came around a turn and ran over those watching the race who were in the street, why not place the blame on Troy? If it had been a bunch of Cub Scouts on a morning hike, should the Den Mother be charged?

I think not, Troy was driving too fast and pedestrians were run over by him. It was not the street racing that caused the deaths, but a careless driver!
