  1. Malaria is not the one Canadians are worried about.  West Nile Virus is.

    By the way are there a lot of cases of frostbite in Africa?


  2. Not malaria...but West Nile Virus...

  3. Malaria is a tropical problem.  Toronto is not exactly tropical.  Your only mosquito concern here is West Nile Virus... and even then, there has not been a whole lot of confirmed cases this year.

  4. I would not worry about, as malaria is not a prevalent disease here in Canada....there has not been an outbreak here since the late 1800's. Plus, is you are healthy and vaccinated against most common illnesses and generally have a good immune system, you have nothing to worry about.

  5. No, there hasn't.  Most Canadians tend to avoid the Great Canadian Rain Forest and prefer the comfort of their igloos, eh!
