  1. Not at all do these Olympics leave a bad taste in my mouth. I thought overall it was a great Olympic games. Seeing many great and historical stories such as Michael Phelps great run for eight gold.

  2. Track and field sometimes hurts you when you see a favorite olympian make a major mistake that gets one out of the medals.

Like Gail Devers, I saw Lolo Jones in the 110m hurdles slip on the 9th hurdle as soon as she had the lead. And that faux pas brought her completely out of the medals even though she finished the race.

That was very devastating. I was pulling for Lolo to win gold...but by that major misstep, I felt so, so sorry for her.

  3. Errr...nope. I try to watch the Olympics and not eat it :)

  4. Well in my opinion they were the best olympics yet, but i agree, i dont want to hear anything else about gymnastics, only because if its ever brought up , then theres a otn of people saying china cheated, and im tired of it, it ruined the olympics for me

  5. Not at all...there has been many a sensational performances and it has been well organised meet...

  6. I never thought I'd be so into the Olympics. The games have been very entertaining and I find myself staying up pass 12 to watch them. I think China is doing a great job during this Olympics. Incredible opening ceremony and after the rain last week, I can tell from tv that the air quality is much better. What I am disappointed about is how NBC shows the same sports over and over. I mean I like to watch sports Americans are good at but cant we watch some other sports like maybe weight lifting, judo, disk toss etc. We need more variety on tv.

  7. I can't stop watching it, I am surprise that the chinese are treating us pretty good. JUST ONE CRIME AGAINST US, IF I REMEMBER WELL.

A CHINESE KILLED AN AMERICAN AND THEM KILLED HIMSELF.

SO, IN THE UNFRIENDLY LAND, WE'RE DOING GOOD AND THE EVENT IS GOING WELL.

  8. Yes actually, but not for that reason. I am disgusted at the poor conditions these athletes have been forced to compete in...with all the smog and such. Also, with the implementation of very obscure and tweaky rules. I am angered at the fact that the Chinese government is dropping Iodine bombs into the clouds to try and dissipate the weather....while this method is not proven, they are trying to be "God" and control the weather systems...(not to mention the spray painting of the grass to make it appear green for the selection committee). As for the rules, Canada lost in a wrestling match, because they were winning the entire time, but then ended up getting tied, but the US won because the rule stands that the last person to get the last point is awarded the victory. All of this has just made me disgusted, not to mention if I want to watch my nations athlete's compete I have to stay up into the early hours of the morning (even though its only fair that all of the continents get a chance to house the great Olympics)

  9. No, I'm enjoying them. People like Christ Chase are putting a bad taste in my mouth. Especially when Yahoo! "features" them.

  10. Nope in general I am enjoying these olympics. I love the events. I love the raw emotion the athletes show when the athletes win a medal. All I watch right now is the olympics.

  11. No, I've thought they've been good...
