Because I truely feel like I lost 5 hours of my life for no good reason. I can seriously count 100 things I would of rather done if I would of known the whole race was going to be segmented heat races. Atleast they gave the F1 fans their money back, and I can't stand those pr*cks

  1. You should and I think goodyear is gonna pull out because ever since Stewart called them out sayin he wanted to go to Hooiser and what happened at Indy the now have a really bad rep.

  2. F1 fans are pricks?!!  What are you talking about?

  3. A tire war can not happen, the compounds would get softer and softer and we would have an Indianapoilis every weekend. Nascar already ruled out a refund since they did finish the race and all 43 competed. The F1 deal was because all but 6 teams sat out of the race. I feel like Goodyear should refund the tickets though.

  4. no, but they should they should drive on anything but goodyear

  5. never gonna see a refund but they have to do something about tires and the COT

  6. No Not Yet But I Think They Should

  7. I believe also that Fans should be compensated for the disaster at the Brickyard but in reality..Never Gonna Happen!

As for the tires, Nascar should let the teams shop around and help develop what they need in a tire and not be bound to Goodyear!...Let the TIRE WARS begin..lol

  8. Your joking right????? Not gonna happen Chewy.............Sorry

You are right though, there should be some competition for the tires!!

  9. I don't think anybody is getting a refund.  NASCAR needs to look in the mirror and take a hard look at their policies that led to this debacle.  Limited testing, limiting how big of a tire Goodyear can make for the COT and prohibiting teams from redistributing weight within the car more to the left side seem to have all contributed to this tragic situation.  Goodyear had their hands tied on this deal and until NASCAR changes THEIR policies and procedures it will not get much better at the Brickyard.

    3 STR8 N 08!!!

  10. And NASCAR is wondering why they are not selling out races????  How many of the drivers have been complaining about the tires that Goodyear has brought to the table.

I ended up turning the race off. There was no race. I could have gone to the local high school and saw better racing on a friday afternoon as class lets out.

  11. You're not getting a refund.

Goodyear has an EXCLUSIVE tire contract w/ NASCAR through 2012, so no tire war either.

  12. The only people getting money will be NASCAR officals payed by goodyear to downplay the  joke of a race sunday. And do not expect NA$CAR to split any of it with the fans From the fans all they know is take take and s***w

  13. if it was a waste of 5 hours than maybe you should just have stopped watching after the first hour. it really wasn't even that bad all the fans just need to quit whining about something that in my opinion was one of the best races of the year.

  14. The fans that were there will never get a refund. NASCAR policy is to issue credit vouchers for a different date ONLY if the event is rained out, otherwise TFB on your part.

As far as the people at home, what exactly was your loss?

Are you going to make NASCAR refund the 5 hr portion of your cable bill?

Let's all wait unti next year. Let's see how early the hype about the "better tire" (TOT) Tire of Tomorrow starts.

  15. Worst race of the season so far but no refund.   I think a lesson was learned on Sunday.  Not good for the fans that were actually at the race but maybe for future note what to do and what not to do.  I doubt if GoodYear is going to make that mistake again.  lol
