im happy he lost i won like 3000 since he did.

THey have no idea what happened.  They have already tested him twice (once yesterday and once today) to see if he had any injuries and he's fine.  They don't know if it has something to do with not getting the steroids he got back in April or what.  I guess just stay tuned..... I am sooo upset about it- I was there and had my mouth open for about 5 minutes after he lost!! :(

All I keep hearing is that he didn't have enough time to rest up from the last race.

I suppose the vets are giving him a good going over, blood work, x-rays, etc., and I suppose someone might even come up with an explanation. But I think he was just, like so many before him, feeling the toll of the 3 tough races in 5 weeks, the Belmont Stakes being the toughest. That and maybe feeling a little additional fatigue and having less adrenal function due to steroid withdrawal.
