A KFC restaurant has been ordered to employ bouncers. Security staff are posted at the entrance of the KFC outlet to ensure it does not break its licensing regulations.

Camden Council acted after a spate of violence in the takeaway in Camden Town.

One man has been slashed with a knife, two have been bottled and another customer has been kicked in the head in some of the ten incidents in two months.

These incidents, along with officers saying the restaurant "often smelt of cannabis",led police to ask the council to revoke KFC's licence.

But the restaurant has been given another chance on the proviso it employs bouncers to work on friday and saturday nights to ensure no more than 20 customers are inside at any time.

  1. KFC'S   Bah!!!!   eat continental...

  2. Until RESPECT is restored and people start behaving with less contempt towards everyone this diabolical occurrances are going to be the norm.

This is a simple answer, but WHY should the Army have to sort EVERY social problem out in the world?

  3. Sorry, but someone must do something & i think that THAT SOMEONE IS WASHING HIS HANDS.

    John

  4. Violence seems to be a way of life now  -  My son lives in Islington and wont go to Camden anymore because of the violence there - I dont know what the real answer is - but if cannabis is smelt perhaps a dog with special "powers" is what is needed on the door with the bouncer to sniff it out.

  5. I feel so sorry for the poor staff. It sounds worse than working in a nightclub. At least they would be prepared for a bit of trouble, you dont expect that at the local Kentucky do you?

  6. Why don't you shut up before I stick one on your chin.

There you go....no wonder there is so much violence in the world...lol

  7. Reminds me of a visit to a McDonald's in New Orleans some years ago - two armed security officers at the door and two patrolling the restaurant (there had been several fatal shootings in there recently). The only trouble I had though was ordering my food in a broad 'Sahf' London accent - had to point at the pictures - they couldn't understand a word I was saying.

I suppose we should be thankful that things are not quite that bad here...yet.
