We are going to Munich and we'll be there for 7 DAYS!! I am currently getting hotels wanting things like "£450 per person for 7 days." It's a joke! Our visit is obviously for the world cup, so, if anybody knows any decently priced places to stay, I'm GAGGING, GAGGING GAGGING to know. It's London to Munich we are flying to, Ok?!?!

  1. Good luck, the hotels were all booked over 2 years ago. And Muenchen is a big city, they charge alot for hotel rooms in the first place. Try a hostel instead, you might have more luck there.

  2. Try the MEININGER City Hostel, the Easy Palace Station Hotel or Hotel Modern. They offer special worldcup packages. Count on having to share bathroom facilities.

  3. If you really can't find anything in Munich (see link of Munich tourist office) I recommend to try smaller town or villages surrounding Munich.

If you can reach it from Munich by the excellent public transport (S-Bahn) commuting will be no problem. Check out the public transport map for city or village names (2nd link).

In addition, you can try a couple of smaller cities which have a really good railway connection, e.g. Augsburg (about a half-hour train ride). For train connections see 3rd and 4th link.

The last link goes to the official Bavarian tourist information. There, you can look for hotel in the cities and villages.

    Good luck!

  4. Go to websites, like expedia, or cheap hotels and do some research, you will find something.
