  1. Oh goodness, I know how you feel, I had to have 2 in the past 2 years, but it was so stressful, I stopped trying and ended up getting pregnant a year later and now I have a healthy baby girl.

Your body is going to need time to recover from it, I know it is hard to absorb that in your mind because you want to replace the loss.  If you get pregnant again too soon, you may end up with another loss, so be very careful....take this time to recover and get your body ready to carry again.  If I were you, I would go and have blood tests done to see why you lost it...I had 2 m/c in a years time and it was so hard, but I knew I was meant to be a mom...so be patient it will come when it's meant to be.  I had to learn that, but you will be a mother when the time is right...Be blessed.

  2. they say you have to wait 3 cycles to start trying again..but ask your doctor some can say 2 months

and yes they put you to sleep

  3. i had a d&c in june for a missed miscarriage.they do put you to sleep for it, and there is hardly any pain when you wake up.as for trying again, i was told when ever i wanted. so two days after the d&c i started trying again.but make sure you check with your doctor first, mine said it would be fine. good luck.

  4. I had a d&c for a blighted ovum.  Yes, they put you under for the procedure.  MY Dr told me to wait one full cycle before trying again.

  5. Hi, first off i do understand what you are goin through. I have suffered two miscarriages since April'08. 1sm m/c natural m/c at 5wks. I had VERY MILD cramps and VERY LIGHT bleeding, went for scan, couldn't see anything, HCG Levels were 71 and within 48hrs they had dropped to 15 indicating a m/c (blighted ovumn). I actually got pregnant again straight away again (4wks after m/c i was testing positivie again) and everything was going well up until my 12wks scan when i was told there was no longer a heartbeat and it was only measuring 8wks. I had no m/c symptons at all (missed m/c) and was offered the d&c or i could just wait for it to happen naturally. I opted for the d&c as i didn't want to pro-long the enevitable, also i felt this best as it had already been like this for 4wks and i didn't know how much longer it would hold on. I am now glad i did do this as it was a fairly straight forward procedure at which you are completely knocked out. I didn't have much bleeding after this and didn't get any pains at all. I was told that if i was to let it happen naturally at this stage i would have labour like pains as the uterus would be contracting.

I hope this is a little helpful

  6. Sorry for your loss,

before you have the D&C please check with

    misdiagnosedmiscarriage.com

and possibly get a second opinion.

My friend was told she was miscarrying, but she wasn't.

    Good Luck!!
