Have to write a paper on water pollution and know nothing about it...?

I have no idea what to write about or even what websites to get info from. Checked online and couldnt find any great info... Anyone with information or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Start with wikipedia to get ideas and then build off of that... the only idea I could tell you without research is that the excess of estrogen in birth control pills is contaminating the water reservoirs and may or may not be affecting men

May try to find some info on the EPA website or GOOGLE code of federal regulations they have alot of information on what has to be done by industries to prevent pollution

Sounds like a science question. I love sciencedaily.com. You can use it like a normal search engine and type in "water pollution" in the search box. Once you get your results choose whatever you think sounds interesting. Scroll to the bottom of the page and it shows you how to document your source in MLA format, just make sure you have the bubble chosen for MLA format. Good luck!

Firstly, start your essay in your own words, rather than websites with words u barely know. Your teacher will be impressed that u can relate yourself and that you fully understand it. Start with the major topics such as man's own impact on water pollution which  would come back to harm himself and other organisms.Your teacher would be interested and have a great idea about the rest of the essay.If you seek advice from adults, you may understand it more than reading about it and in this way be able to write in your own words.

Your main problem is going to be refining the topic so that you are not inundated with information. You might start out by searching  for data on "nonpoint pollution" That won't lead you to more information than you need to write a thousand or so doctoral dissertations.
