Even sleeping pills don't help me. Any suggestions? It may be hormones because I am in the age range for menopause. I am lucky to get 3 or 4 hours of sleep and that isn't enough.

  1. When you are trying to fall asleep does it seem your mind is going 100mph? Try doing some yoga or some sort of relaxing routine before you go to bed. Also try going to bed at the same time every night. Have you tried Ambien CR?

  2. Melatonin worked for me. It is produced in our bodies anyway, so it isn't harmful. You can get it from health stores or alternative medicine stores.

  3. Do you mean "falling asleep?"  I'm not a doctor, but I take Tylenol PM.

  4. Badger Balm sleep aid.

I'm not a nutty crunchy new age holistic person by any means but this stuff really works for me. I rub a bit on my temples and under my nose and in 10-20 mins I am relaxed and asleep.

  5. Try to relax as much as possible an hour before you go to bed. Don't do anything that will stimulate you too much mentally eg watching tv. Have a warm bath and a hot milky drink but keep the bedroom cool. Read or meditate to relax you and keep a fresh bunch of lavender in your bedroom and you will be sleeping like a baby!

  6. Natural remedies include warm milk, melatonin, valerian, 5-HTP and others that you can find in a web search for "natural sleep remedies".

  7. go to doctor

    stay up ay night
