Have u been to the Canaries?

I am going on holiday to Tenerife in September. I know it is a Spanish island but is it part of the E.U. ? and can i buy duty frees at Gatwick airport or not?

  1. no you cannot buy at gatwick  Tenerife is not part of the EU you can only bring back 200 cigs but they are really cheap out there cheaper then gatwick. you would pay about 20 euros for 200.


  2. The Canaries are not part of the EU so u can buy duty free at the airport.

    Personally I would buy branded alcohol at the airport but if u want cigarettes i would buy them out there they are cheaper than duty free and u can bring more back
