I'm from Bedstuy which is a mostly black area. I went to visit my aunt and uncle and cuzins in Florida. I don't remember the name of the town they live at but it was almost all white people there. When I went to the store the casheer was actin like she was scared of me. I got so mad cuz she wasn't actin like that with them white people. So I had to put her in her place but I ain't cause no serious problems cuz I wasn't tryin to go to jail. But that really did bother me cuz y do people think black people ain't nothin but trouble. I hate that!!

Yep. As a matter of fact, someone drove by me the other day yelling "hey, fatty!!!" out of his window. Well, I'm proud to be a member of the fat race, so it didn't really bother me.

some black hoodlums threw some saltine crackers at me, and called me cracker jack, even though my name isnt jack, but i got the last laugh i used those crackers in my soup for dinner that night

No, I think it's all in how you carry yourself. If someone decides to be racist that's their problem, their not going to steal my joy.

It was only decades later that I realised that I was, at school, when I understood that my Jewish nose made me look Jewish (I had a Jewish grandmother but never considered myself as anything but British).  Until then I just assumed the idiot skinheads picked on me because I didn't fight back.
