  1. Answer to the first question: yes. Ftr, you do NOT "create" anything. As far as I've done it and known it to be done, it's a concentration of energy. That is--you draw it from yourself or your surroundings. Everything as energy: kinetic, potential, mechanical or otherwise. Living things can draw and release the most transfer and thus trees are a great source of this (yeah, all those nut jobs that like to meditate in the woods may be on to something). All living things release heat to some degree. Again--scientifically--heat is a transfer of energy. Since the energy is already flowing outward, the 'trick' is to contain (and maintain, without releasing) said energy and sort of center it in front of oneself.

Now, energy may also be taken from yourself. The best way to learn this is to do this method first, so that you know how the energy 'feels' when it's doing different things and will be able to draw it more easily from other objects and beings. If you focus on the pit, the core, of your energy, kind of trace that, move that over your body, releasing your excess energy to it and growing a spere. Finally, move that out from your fingertips and you'll feel it. You'll know if you are doing it.

As for what to do with it...it can be a party favor if you want to light a tissue or something, but I've never personally generated so much heat (or really tried to). When I draw energy from the outside, I usually draw it into myself for a boost or to wake up. More often, I put it into other people, which takes a bit more practice. You do the drawing into yourself and out to the fingertips, but when you push it into the other person (most easily through chest or temples), it sometimes feels like it's pushing back into your hands. Most receivers describe the feeling as something akin to a warm blanket being placed over them. I don't know, I know it sounds crazy, but it's something I've done since I was young. I've actually done it to people without telling them what I'm doing and then have them ask "how did you do that?" so...take it or leave it. Email me if you want more detail.

  2. Ki balls are a lot like anything else imaginary--they only hold sway with those who believe in them.  Do you honestly believe that someone can make an invisible ball of energy that can then be used for any purpose at all?  If so, I have an imaginary bar of gold I'd like to sell you at a deep discount.

  3. I don't have the knowledge on how to accomplish it, but I  know it can be done because I saw this older fellow who lit a piece of tissue paper on fire with it.  I  know it wasn't something on the tissue because it came out of somebody's pocket pack directly, so he had no chance to put something on it.  He wasn't the type of person to try to pull a fast one anyway, not into money and all that.

  4. I personally have never done one, but I have seen Goku, Vegeta and others do it many times on Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT.

  5. Well, I have seen a tai chi master light a fire with one, however, aside from being a sign of advanced Chi Kung practice, I do not know anything positive you can do with them except warm up your hands.

  6. No, I haven't. Nobody has. Sure, some people say they can create "invisible chi balls" or (qi, ki, psi), but how hard is it to claim you've created an invisible thing? A chi ball is supposed to be focused paranormal energy created by your mind, but it is just a fable. Nobody has ever actually demonstrated this ability. Since it is fictitious, there is nothing that you can do with it.

Check out the link for a martial arts master, George Dillman, who claims he can do touchless knockouts using his "chi". Of course he was shown to be a fraud.
