Have u ever had brown spotting during pregnancy?

ok, I'm 7 weeks pregnant, going on 8 weeks due April 8th. since about week four I've had light brown spotting on and off, just a little bit or when i wipe, but it's there. I've had my HCG checked several times, and several ultrasounds, the doctor says the pregnancy is progressing and they have found a heartbeat. he told me I'm at a higher risk for miscarriage, but that some woman do spot through the whole first trimester and still progress, and some don't. my question(s) is, did any of you have spotting? how long did u spot before a miscarriage? did your pregnancy make it? any experiences greatly appreciated... thanks...

i've had spotting, bleeding, and water leakage followed up by hcg test and ultrasounds im 12w3d now and baby is still progressing just fine...if they found a heart beat and its not excessive and ALOT of it dont even worry about it...if it gets worse or is bloody or your in pain then you should start to worry.

had the same brown spotting as you at the same time! My doctor said it was normal and more then likely just old blood coming out. I am now 34 weeks pregnant and my baby is doing good.

I spotted brown a few times around 8 and 9 weeks. Talked to the doc about it and she told me that it was most likely just old blood passing through. I have 3 days left to deliver a baby boy and I've had no complications throughout. =) Good luck!

With my first child they TOLD me i was going to have a miscarriage. I had to go get HCG tests every other day after arguing with them i was still pregnant. I was right. I blead very heavily with her for 2 weeks before it stopped and no one knew why. She is now almost 7. With my second child i had a light brow or light pink spotting for a month and they told me the same thing they told you but she is going to be 3 soon. It depends on the person honestly. Don't stress over it too much because that will make matters worse. Have it in your head and heart that this is going to be a successful pregnancy?? Then you are probally correct! Best of luck!

spotted at 7 weeks and baby was fine. I am now 30 weeks and baby still doing fine. sometimes after s*x I spot but it is supposed to be normal. good luck

I don't want to stress you out, as it sounds like everything is okay with your pregnancy, but I spotted brown in mine (at about 6.5 weeks) and it ended in a miscarriage.  Let's see...I spotted brown about 3-4 days and then it turned bright red.  When it turned red, I knew I was probably going to miscarry.  About 4 days later, waiting for an ultrasound, I lost the baby in the hospital.  It was a horrible experience.  Anyway, that's just my story, that doesn't mean that you are going to have the same results.  Good job in being proactive and getting things checked out.  Good luck to you!

Yes through my whole first trimester then again in the third trimester.

i only had spotting once in my last pregnancy in april this year and that sadly ended in miscarriage but all women are different some bleed some spot and there pregnancy's are fine,

I'm 9 weeks now no spotting baby is happy but it does not mean everything will be ok
