I am asking this question because i tasted champagin at my sisters wedding yesterday and i wanted to know whats ur opinon about champagin.

I drank it hot the first time I drank it. I got sick as a dog. The best way to drink it is cold with strawberries -IN MODERATION. I enjoy it occaisionally.

More than likely the champagne served at your sisters wedding was just a sparkling wine. True champagne only comes from the Champagne region of France, anything else is really just sparkling wine being passed off as champagne. That said, my opinion of something like Asti, with it's big honkin bubbles, is that it's fine for a wedding toast but not much else. If you really want to know what champagne tastes like, you need a better quality like Moet & Chandon, Dom, or the Cristal that the rappers like to pour all over the ground to show off how rich they are now. It tastes NOTHING like the cheap swill typically served at big functions, has a rather tickly sensation. It also swings from dry to sweet, depending on the variety. Brut is dry, demi sec is sweet (and harder to find).
