I have tried hard salami which tastes almost like pepporoni and I know that is awesone. I used to put a pinch of lemon juice while it was cooking and then I would put it in a sandwhich and that tastes awesome. try it. And i am bound to try yours.

When i was little my dad used to put pepperoni slices on a paper towel and heat them in the microwave... they either get like bacon or if you like it crispy and cook it longer and its like pepperonin chips really good

yes and it does taste like bacon, it's awesome on sandwiches or on/in a pizza or calzone! I even put it in a pasta salad once!
