Have u had to deal with APX Honeywell

that is the new alarm i got in my house had it for two days and i have had to call twice and now i have to call again cause it says my door is open when it is not. and today when i set it on it went off and called the police my friend called saying they called her too see if she could get ahold of me. i was across the street and didnt see a police car at all but any ways. have u every had this happen to u and should i get rid of it it will cost 45 dollar a month and i only save 50 a year on home insurance. so i dont think it is worth and i live in a great place my house is seen my every body at all times.

Your door sensor just needs adjusted.  Call the company and they should send a technician out in a week.  If i were you i would send in the NOC (Yellow paper) to the company saying you want to cancel it.  they will offer you a lower rate usually if you choose to stay.    I think alarm systems are a decent investment, however the service sounds useless, but after the 3 years the equipment is yours and you can still use it without having to pay the $40 a month.

  Also I found out ADT also uses Honeywell for their equipment as well.
