Question:

Have we all become deficient in vitamin B12? ?

I am very proud of the youth of today. They appear to take health very seriously, especially the health of their peers. I have over heard many teenager types talking about meat injections and how they give them to others. These must a be an invention for the anemic who lack B12 which we get from protein.

Or could this be the new trend to give a young lady or gent? I've overheard young chaps saying how they gave a girl one of these injections and how well received it was. I know, adorable little romantics.

Though this also troubles me. I am now worried that I might need this. If the young are in such need of it then what does that mean for slightly mature (still stunning, check the picture) ladies?

  1. those protein injections are all the rage....do be careful, there are a lot of unlicensed chaps running around offering the "  two minute miracle"

  2. faulty absorption due to less HCL in stomach ,

  3. All that extra lip plumping only serves the fish mongers with brown trout.

(Sorry I strayed from meat products)

  4. Yes, I have heard of these meat injections, though I believe they are offered on the street and are known as 'pork pokes'.  I get my meat injection from a top doctor on Harley Street my dear.

  5. The vitamin B12 is found in meat and dairy products so people who limit or eliminate animal derived foods from their diets possess a strong risk of having a B12 deficiency. Intestinal disorders, excessive alcohol use, weakened internal systems, and certain medical conditions can also increase the risk for deficiency, and certain conditions such as pernicious anemia or removal of the stomach outright prevents the body being able to absorb the vitamin. Even though the body does not need B12 in high amounts (a recommended daily amount ranging from 0.4 micrograms for infants, gradually increasing through age groups to 2.4 micrograms for men and non-pregnant and non-lactating women), if left untreated, deficiency can lead to severe neurological, respiratory, circulatory, or intestinal damage.

  6. If you try one, do let me know whether the results are beneficial and where you can get hold of this.  There's plenty of fake or dilute product out there, but I've found it hard to find the real thing (tee hee).

  7. I've had vitamin B-12 injections in the past even when I was eating meat (they are not actually MADE from meat--I hope you were joking).  They provide a lot of energy, which is usually why people use them in this fashion.  Even good for slightly or even horribly mature adults, I suppose.
