  2. I think the British government certainly wants that. they fill commercial breaks on radio, TV, and cinema with how to think and behave ads.

Do people really need to be told that their children will copy their behavior and eating fatty foods is bad for you? They are even warned that none payment of taxes will have  serious consequences and they are told they can't hide coz the state knows who they are.

They are even talking about adding taxes to fatty foods to 'discourage' the eating of them! They already did that to cigarettes and alcohol.

All this on top of 24 hour video surveillance on almost every street. The introduction of ID cards containing retina scans and all info about the owner. There is talk about GPS Cell phone surveillance, GPS surveillance of cars (I'm sure it wont be long before they think of adding it to ID cards.) And just recently I heard that they are launching a great number of remote flying surveillance units to cover areas where there are no camera's.

I'm sure if they could add something to the water that would make the population all think the same they would. Currently they are stuck with dumbing them all down by reducing access to education and reducing the amount of subjects and standards they are taught to in schools, along with introducing fluoride to water and nutra sweet to soft drinks and food to reduce brain development.

SO Britain is becoming a groupthink society, the USA is not far behind and Europe is not far behind them.

That's why I left to live in a free country!

  3. Not me.    I haven't had cable in a year and don't miss it.

  4. "1984" has been the Republican Play Book for the last eight years.

  5. Maybe we will share "fifteen minutes of hate" in the future.

  6. Ridge.. wtf? your answer to this exactly what this is describing.

  7. YES. We sadly have one of the worst education programs among developed countries. Poorly educated people are easier to manipulate and control. That is why we look at our political parties as if they were sports teams. We pick a side and root for them no matter what they say or do.

  8. You cannot be referring to the US.  We have many people with many opinions.

  9. Of course not. We are "no think" society that lets Our Corporate Media do our thinking for us. Consider that a mere 50 year ago our grandparents freshened the air only if someone had been smoking a cigar, cooking cabbage, or otherwise making a bad smell. Now, thanks to Our Corporate Media, we realize what filthy swine grandparents were and are wisely spending our money on little electric gizmos that automatically freshen our air every few minutes. Let's thank our lucky stars that we have Our Corporate Media looking out for our best interests.
