Isn't that the goal, learning and improving oneself?

  1. What is 'progress'? It is a relative concept, depends on what you are 'progressing' towards, doesn't it.

But yes, we have progressed in the sense that we have successfully spread the gospel of equalism. and we have progressed in the sense that we have exposed feminist hypocrisy.

  2. i can honestly say i have learn a snit load here....I will never forget the seaman warriors! lol .....but it's also made me more sure that feminism is needed(which might be considered regressive progress to some)

    Mr. DeVere-Cox........lol I think I like ya

  3. People will always have an opinion which is easy to convey in a forum of anonymity with no repercussions of actually standing by their perspectives truthful or not. The time spent here could be better used to do something "real" out there where it makes more of a difference rather than baiting trolls whether they be misandrists or mysoginists. Progress requires acknowledgement of responsibility taken and goals reached...here you will only find the ebb and flow between insight and conviction.

  4. Far as I can see, only the avatars and names have changed - everything else looks and sounds the same.

  5. No

  6. No, this forum simply advances the difficulties men and women seem to espouse as "intrinsic."  This forum seems to simply advance the aphorisms layed down by such treatases as "Mein Kampf" and so forth.

  7. we?  as in the collective?  i suspect so, regardless of all the nay sayers...

i think we have defined progress.  we have infiltrated the consciousness of all who visit and that is progress.  the very act of thoughtful consideration is progress.  and even the trolls have to think to come up with the inflammatory questions they post.  in order to p**s a feminist/anti-feminist off a troll must recognize what is detrimental to equality.  progress.

  8. No. Entering G&WS is like entering a battlefield with a blindfold on.

  9. Not at all.

  10. Perhaps the moderate feminists who thought everything was fine and dandy on the road to women's lib have been shocked to discover that there is still a lot of opposition. Perhaps also that there may be flaws in feminism.

Have the misogynists learned anything? I think not. Maybe only how to cast sentences better and perfecting the art of winding up feminists.

edit - Rose, you look like one of my old flames (but it might just be your avatar).

  11. It's interesting to see how many women reject feminism these days.

    It's completely refreshing.

A couple years ago, men could offer up situations that were unfair to men and sexist against men and most women didn't have the capacity to understand that men can indeed suffer from discrimination and sexism.

Feminists have done such a number on the male image from 40 years of sexist books, articles, laws, and statements that have infected society with an automatic "shut-off-valve" to anything that harms men.

"Oh, who cares about them?  They're the ones that have it so good."

...But women are beginning to become skeptical of the teachings of feminism.

Women are beginning to realize that their own choices to do whatever they wish is more important to sticking to the "rules" of feminism.

...And more women are understanding that men are people that deserve respect and should not be summed up as an "oppressive class."

I've seen the progress on this forum and others.
