Have we reached "Peak Oil" yet?

Last night on CNN T. Boone Pickens said that we have reached the peak of daily, global oil production. Others have said this too.

Have we reached "Peak Oil" yet.

If you are unfamiliar with the term you should google it and check it out. The ramifications of hitting this peak are a bit scary.

Truth is nobody knows. There are some estimates as to how much oil there is in th world, but we actually will have no idea until we run out of oil. People still aren't sure exactly how much oil is in some of the fields we know about, so...
