Yes, no, and cucumber sandwiches are seriously overrated.

They have their place in traditional settings:

As part of the cricket tea in the pavilion on a Saturday afternoon, for example.

And I'm hardly a Royalist, though having the queen as head of state at least stops us getting lumbered with yet another aging politician in the role.
