I'm looking for someone who's taken a natural anti-inflammatory supplement that they feel has worked for them in regards to preventing or worsening joint pain.

If you've taken glucosamin or MSM, or bromelain or ANYTHING that has prevented your joints from hurting (especially knee's) and/or helped your joint pain let me know

Include brand name and ingredients in the product

thanks!

  1. I have taken Glucosamine for years, and it does work for me.  When you start this glucosamine thing, you have to give it time to kick in, like maybe a month.  But once you are on it for a while you will start noticing that you do not hurt near as much as before.  I ran out once while away from home and thought I would just go with out till I got home, I got home and forgot to replace it till I started getting all those aches and pains back...of course it took me a month or more to get back into the routine and out of pain...never again will I let those little pills get down to none.

Right now I am taking a generic brand of Glucosamine Sulfate 500 mg and it works fine.

  2. Want to know something kinda funny.

I give Glucosamine/Chorndrotial treats to my 14 year old Puppy  :) and it helped her tremendously.  She's playing again and happy. Before we couldn't even touch her because she hurt so bad.

The only thing is if you are taking blood pressure medication check with your doctor the Chro. will negate some medications.

  3. I have not taken a glucosmine supplement, but I work in a store that does sale glucosmine supplements. Based on my customer cliente it really works I know I lot of people who take it all the time along with fish oil which is also good for the joints, it lubrates and its an anti-inflammatory. Triflex is a great product it contains 1500mg of glucosmine, 1200mg of condroitin and 900mg of msm which rebuilds the cartilage around the joints which further prevents joint pain. Condroitin is great and works well with glucomine to promote mobilty, reduces pain, and reduces swelling around the joints. You can get glucosmine by itself if you like. Its really great for arthritis and other joint and bone related disorders. Taking it everyday will feel the difference in weeks, this is something you continusly take daily.
