  2. My first name is Hebrew... that's all I know about that. My surname is Scottish. I can tell you what that means. Son of Bartholemew (is that how you spell it?). we were lowlanders and when all of the archetypical scottish warriors went to fight the English, we snuck onto their land and nicked their cows! We're sneaky manipulative people we are.

when i say cows i mean cattle in general not just the females...

    Gladys

Welsh and English: from the Welsh name Gwladus, which is of uncertain derivation. It has been quite widely used outside Wales in the 20th century.

    Hope this helps.

and not that i like to admit but I am pretty bossy and like to be at the centre of attention

    - this may be random but what the h**l..

I watched a documentary about 3months ago about scientists who studied the effect of labels on sterile water...

The same water was put into identical containers and each was given a label ... some hate, love, peace, anger...

And after a few days they rechecked the molecular structure of the water to see each had changed in a way appropriate to the label...

I had become jagged, ugly, and messed up with the violent, unpleasent labels and remained intact with the pleasent labels...

So perhaps our names mould our behaviour... without us even knowing it...

Just thought you may find it interesting ...

PS... Im sure you are a joy to know

  15. Stuart means 'steward' apparently.
