Painting

Today was a blank canvas

Now it is muddled with strokes of genius.

Now it is splattered with sprays of flowers.

Now it is marred with mistakes.

Now it is shining with triumph.

I can see me in every color and shadow laid.

This, today’s canvas is spectacular.

Tomorrow’s will be too, but it will never be today’s.

  1. very nice

  2. I agree with Big C's advice. Also consider cutting the "This" on L7.

It's a really nice poem. Those changes will bring it out more.

  3. Take "Now it is"  off all those lines and it sounds great.
