have you to Colombia i was born there but i want to know what people think of it i don't care if you are going to say something mean but your mom told you if you don't have something nice to say then don't say it

mom didn't tell you to use correct spelling? how come you don't know that been and bean have different spellings and meanings!

Honestly, I have never been to Colombia.  If you watch No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain, he recently did a very informative show about Colombia.  It has come a long way in such a short time, I am very impressed.  It seems like it is currently going through a cultural and culinary revival.  It is a beautiful country that I definitely hope to visit one day!

I went there once for a day, it was pretty, but i hear a lot of bad things about some gorilla groups and the president isn't the bestest friend of america

If you want to find folks who've really been to Colombia, you should post this question somewhere other than in the food section.  There's a travel section; you'd probably get better answers there.
