  1. It was beautiful, fun and exciting.  I was there on a somewhat stormy day so the water was rough and lots of waves.  a little sketchy for some but I am a good swimmer and it was exciting.  I did have to help one lady who was in the clutches of the backdraft of a surge.  anyway, it is fun and unforgettable.  All of the British Virgin Islands are wonderful.  Enjoy it all!

  2. The Baths is awesome! It's a beach with huge boulders on the beach. But there are other beaches in Virgin Gorda with big boulders on the beach, but the Baths is the most popular one. I live on Tortola so I should know all of this. I'll be looking out for you when you come ;) ;)

  3. We go to Virgin Gorda every year and stay for about 7 to 10 days each time.  I have been to the baths twice.  Once on a day trip from St John (using the public ferry) and once while staying on V.G.  The Baths are beautiful and a cool thing to see.  However, the days that Little d**k's or other tours are there the beach cam become quite crowded.  Right next door to the Baths is another beach called Spring Bay which is accessible from the baths, that is MUCH nicer.  There is nobody there and you have the beach to yourself. My mom who is in her seventies had a bit of difficulty getting down and up the path to the baths but we found a "secret" trail to Spring Bay which was much easier to navigate.  You can swim in the same formations without the crowds.  still, worth a trip is the trail thru the Baths themselves and the devils Bay beach on the other side.  There is a restaurant called Top Of The Baths at the top of the trail.  It has a freshwater pool which feels great after a day in the sun at the beach.  You are supposed to buy a drink or food to go in it but nobody says anything if you just jump in. Have fun!!! You'll love it!

  4. The Baths are really beautiful...in fact, the whole of Virgin Gorda is beautiful.  There are loads of sea animals at the Baths, and it's a very calm and peaceful place to relax in the water or to go snorkelling.
