I was canned by this crazy Indian disciplinary male teacher once for standing during morning assembly when I was in standard one (1960).

He just came from behind and ambushed (canned) my back-sides for no apparent reasons.

I was embarrassed and dare not cried from the stinging pain after thecanning.
