When I tried to answer last night and hit the submit button the answer box came up empty with a red line all the way around it.

It didn't matter if my As were long or short and all were neutral and not abuse but "they" would not let me answer!!!!

  1. That hasn't happened yet...I asked a question today and I looked up and it said -25 points.....My question went to 4 different sections I chose for it to go to Photography. My question went  twice to the Hockey section of YA and to, Physics, Seniors, and Family all at the same time. YA seemed to have less glitches before they made the improvements :)

  2. No, I think you need to smoke your house!!!!!!!Gotcha on that one if youu want the answer.....only the Natives know!!!!!

  3. sounds like some sort of glitsh ,did u try again a few times?

  4. Yahoo isnt swift enough to have instant censorship so it had to either be a glitch or you had already answered your quota of questions for the day.

  5. Yes, I did have that happen to me.  I suppose it was a word I was using in the answer?  I couldn't figure out why it didn't accept my answer.  I was not cursing, being vulgar or using racist language.  Another mystery!

  6. Yes I have, I really think they censor answers, sometimes I have to change my answer 3 times before it is accepted sometimes they won't let me answer with no explanation why. None of my answers were in violation.  Also(hope you don't mind)sometimes spell check gobbles up my answer, grrrr.  Very annoying isn't it?  I had not reached my limits either.

  7. they only let you answer a set amount of questions per day..... had you been on it for a while?

the trick is to sign up 5 times or however many times you need, so you can happily answer questions all night

  8. The red line is to notify you that you didn't put an answer in the box.  It's a glitch, they're making adjustments.  It happened to me several times yesterday.  Also, it's showing that I'm giving everybody thumbs down when I haven't(I never TD, I think it's childish and only makes people feel bad).  If anyone thinks I'm giving TD, sorry. It's not me.

  9. Yep, it happened to me yesterday about 3 times. As you know that I have been here awhile and I have no limits as to how many I answer in a day. You also know that I never say things that should not be said at all.

What I do is I type my answer in the box, act as though I am going to ''copy & paste''. Then what I have typed has been ''saved'' (if you will). I hit the submit button. If the little red frame comes up with nothing in it, I hit the back button, then if what I have typed is gone, I just do the paste and then there is my answer again without having to retype it again. And then I hit the submit button again. Some times I may have to do this 2 or 3 times before it will go. I would rather do the copy and paste than to have to retype it every time.

  10. It's another glitch in the system, that happened to me last night, so I went back to the beginning and rewrote my answer, it worked that time,

  11. Y!A's was taking a lot of "breathers"/aka coffee breaks yesterday and last night. I did notice the alert on the top of the page that said "You might be experiencing difficulties......"  or whatever they put up there.

Happened to me a few times too after typing several answers.

  12. Goofy Yahoo . . I don't think you were censored - just caught in a cybercane - little whirlwinds that carry our words to nowhere ! !  It happened to me, and I went to bed ! !

  13. That happened to me the other day and I didn't get a chance to figure out what was going on because a neighbor stopped by. Still don't know what happened. Never saw it before. Glad I wasn't the only one.

  14. No, it hasn't happened to me.

  15. yes it happen last evening -- i figure it was just a blip on the system and moved on!!
